The goal of Project Care is to enhance the well-being and independence of older persons and persons with disabilities in our San Diego County community. Through its component services, Project Care helps people live safely in their homes. Each community administers a local Project Care site autonomously to meet its unique needs. C.A.R.E. stands for Community Action to Reach the Elderly.
On the menu above, you can find the non-profit or municipal office in your neighborhood, the kind of help available, and meet some of your local staff and volunteers.
Formed in 1995, Project Care is a unique partnership of public and private agencies working together to help older adults and those with disabilities. Programs are designed to lend a hand and keep us connected, reducing the risks of frailty and isolation.
Supported by San Diego County's Aging & Independence Services, Project Care is simply the sum total of effort by each individual partner, volunteer, and participant.
